Yes — 14 days, on Basic, Pro or Elite, monthly or annual. A card is required to start it, and the plan's whole monthly allowance arrives immediately and in full: 800 credits on Basic, 3,200 on Pro, 7,800 on Elite, spendable on the first day. That is not the same thing as the free plan, which needs no card at all, renews a credit allowance every month, watermarks what it exports and keeps the paid features locked. The two are separate routes and people mix them up because the free plan's own sign-up line says "no card needed".

How to start the trial
- Sign up or sign in. The account is created by the sign-up form alone, with no payment step, and it starts on the free plan.
- Open the pricing section and choose Basic, Pro or Elite, monthly or annual.
- Enter a card on the checkout page. The trial is a subscription that bills nothing for 14 days, so the card is taken at the start rather than at the end.
- The credits are in the account before the first generation. Nothing is metered out over the fortnight.
The trial is once per account, and it is the account that is checked rather than the card or the browser. Checking out again afterwards is an ordinary subscription that charges on day one.
When the credits arrive, exactly
At the start, in one piece. Starting a trial grants the plan's entire monthly allowance in a single write, the moment the checkout completes. There is no drip, no per-day fraction and no second grant during the 14 days.
And they are not taken back when the trial converts. The first real payment adds another allowance on top of what is left, capped at three times the plan's monthly figure. Unused trial credits survive that.
The refill is on the calendar month, not the anniversary of your signup. Every account's allowance is keyed to the UTC month, so credits land at the turn of the month rather than on the day of the month you subscribed. A trial started on the 20th and converting on the 3rd of the next month gets its second allowance at that turn.
Credits are also capped per day: one month's allowance is the most that can be spent from the plan pool in a single UTC day. For a trial that is the whole allowance, so it is not a limit anybody meets on day one.
What it does not do
The trial does not start without a card. The free plan and the trial are two different routes, and only one of them is card-free. If a card is the objection, the free plan is the thing to use — an allowance that renews every month, spendable at the 20-credit entry model, with no expiry date on the account.
It does not run twice. One trial per account, recorded against the account when the credits are granted.
It does not stop the charge by itself. On day 15 the plan's price is charged unless the subscription is cancelled before then: $8 a month for Basic, $14 for Pro, $30 for Elite, or $48, $84 and $180 a year.
Cancelling during the trial is not an instant cut-off. Cancelling marks the subscription to end at the end of the current period, which for a trial is the end of the 14 days. The paid features stay available until then, and no payment is taken.
The free plan is not a smaller trial. It has no end date, and it is not the paid plan with fewer credits: the watermark, the 720p export, Private Mode, the Brand Kit and both face features are decided by the plan, not by the credit balance. Buying a credit pack does not unlock any of them.
Neither one hides the price list. Every model's cost in credits is published per model, and what a plan exports at is published per plan.
Questions people actually ask
Do I need a card for the free trial? Yes. The trial is a subscription with the first 14 days at no charge, and checkout collects the card at the start. The free plan is the one that needs no card.
How many credits does the trial give me? The plan's whole monthly allowance, immediately: 800 on Basic, 3,200 on Pro, 7,800 on Elite.
Do the credits arrive gradually over the 14 days? No. One grant, at the start, for the full amount.
What happens to unused credits when the trial converts? They stay. The first payment adds the next allowance on top, up to a ceiling of three months' worth.
What happens if I cancel during the trial? The subscription ends at the end of the 14 days rather than immediately, nothing is charged, and the account then moves to the free plan and its monthly credit allowance.
Can I take a second trial on a different plan? No. The trial is recorded against the account the first time it is granted, and a later checkout is a normal paid subscription.
Is the free plan time-limited? No. It renews its credit allowance every month for as long as the account exists.
Does the free plan watermark my downloads? Yes, on every route that produces an image, including Recreate. Watermark-free export is the first row of the paid feature table.
Which plans can I trial? Basic, Pro and Elite, monthly or annual. The trial length is the same 14 days either way.
