You are giving them something real. That matters more than the commission, because a code your audience actually benefits from is one they'll actually use.

What you get

A recurring commission on every active referral, every month they stay subscribed. The rate starts at 20%, rises to 30% at ten active referrals and 40% at a hundred.

Commission is paid on subscription payments. One-off credit top-ups sit outside the programme: they don't carry your viewer's discount and they don't pay commission.

It's based on what the customer actually pays after their discount, not on the list price.

Nobody is promising you a hundred referrals. The point is that the numbers are simple enough for you to work out yourself before you agree to anything.

How the tiers work

  • The rate is set by how many active referrals you have, not by how long any individual customer has been subscribed.
  • A new rate applies from the month you cross the threshold, to all of your active referrals.
  • We don't back-pay earlier months at the higher rate. Crossing 10 in March means March onward is paid at 30%.
  • If referrals cancel and your count drops below a threshold, the rate follows it back down.

About the payouts

We'll be straight with you about the stage this is at: payouts are handled manually, once a month, by a person. Payouts start once your balance passes $10; anything below that rolls into the next month and never expires. There's no partner dashboard yet, and no automated payment rail.

That means you get a real reply from a real person, and it also means this isn't built for someone who wants live analytics. If that's a dealbreaker, it's better you know now than after you've made a video.

Who this works for

It works best if you make things for people who publish on YouTube — editing tutorials, channel-growth content, gear and workflow reviews, anything where your audience is already thinking about their own uploads.

It works poorly if your audience doesn't make videos. A 20% discount on a thumbnail generator is worth nothing to people who don't need thumbnails, and neither of us gains from a code nobody redeems.

You don't need a particular subscriber count. A 3,000-subscriber channel full of working creators is worth more here than a 300,000-subscriber channel that isn't.

House rules

  • Please don't run paid ads on our brand name or bid on it in search.
  • Please don't post your code to coupon and voucher aggregators. The programme is meant for your audience, not for deal sites.
  • Tell your audience it's an affiliate link. It's the law in most places, and it costs you nothing with people who already trust you.

We'd rather say all of this up front than write it into a contract nobody reads.
